Many of the more interesting massive data problems involve data that are at least partially graphical; these include social networks, hyperlinked text, images, web graphs, protein networks and spatial data. This workshop will bring together researchers with interests in large-scale networks from computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, physics, and other disciplines. The central theme is the interplay between theoretical models for large-scale networks and their dynamics (e.g., diffusion, financial or strategic dynamics), and methods for the empirical and experimental validation of those models.
