Yuqing Wang

Yuqing Wang

Research fellow, Simons Institute, UC Berkeley

Yuqing Wang is a PhD candidate in Mathematics at Georgia Institute of Technology, advised by Prof. Molei Tao. Her research focuses on the intersection of machine learning, optimization, sampling, (stochastic) dynamics, and computational math. Her interest lies in quantitatively understanding and improving the dynamics in machine learning, including the implicit bias of large learning rates and the acceleration of sampling dynamics. Before coming to Georgia Tech, Yuqing Wang received her BS in Computational Mathematics from Nankai University.
