Thomas Vidick
Assistant Professor, California Institute of Technology
After graduating with a PhD in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 2011, Thomas Vidick spent two years as a postdoc at MIT's CSAIL, under the supervision of Scott Aaronson. He spent the fall of 2013 at the Mathematics of Quantum Information programme at the Newton Institute in Cambridge. Following a Research Fellowship at the Simons Institute in 2014, he joined Caltech as an assistant professor in the Computing and Mathematical Sciences Department. Vidick's research interests lie in the theory of quantum computation.
