Supartha Podder
Assistant Professor, Stony Brook University
Supartha is interested in quantum and classical complexity theory. His main research interest is to explore how and when quantum computation outperforms classical computation. He is also interested in quantum cryptography, in particular in the interplay between complexity theory and cryptography.
Supartha Podder earned a PhD in computer science from the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore. He holds masters in computer science from École Normale Supérieure de Cachan (ENS de Cachan) and Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI). Prior to joining Stony Brook, Podder was a postdoc at the University of Ottawa and at University of Texas at Austin.
