Stefano Tessaro
Associate Professor, University of Washington
Stefano Tessaro is an associate professor in the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington, where he co-directs the cryptography group. He received his PhD degree from ETH Zurich in 2010, and prior to joining his current position, he held postdoctoral appointments at UC San Diego and MIT, and a faculty position at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he was the holder of the Glen and Susanne Culler Chair in Computer Science. He received several awards for his work, including a Sloan Fellowship, an NSF CAREER award, a Hellman Fellowship, and the best paper award at EUROCRYPT 2017.
