Shiva Kasiviswanathan is a research scientist at Amazon working on theoretical aspects of machine learning. His recent research includes algorithms for causal discovery, differentially private data analyses, and distributed optimization. Shiva holds a PhD from Pennsylvania State University (2008), and prior to joining Amazon has held research positions at various other industrial labs.
