Shahar Dobzinski
Professor, Weizmann Institute
Shahar Dobzinski is a faculty member in Weizmann's applied math and computer science department. Before joining Weizmann, he was a postdoc at Cornell, hosted by Bobby Kleinberg. He graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where his advisor was Noam Nisan. His general research area is algorithmic game theory, an area at the intersection of computer science, game theory, and economics. Specifically, he primarily studies the theory of computer science aspects of problems in algorithmic mechanism design. He is also interested in other related areas of theoretical computer science, such as approximation algorithms.
