Rachit Garg
Graduate Student, University of Texas at Austin
Rachit Garg is a first year PhD student at the University of Texas at Austin, advised by Brent Waters. His research focuses on the theory and practice of computing on encrypted data. Before going to UT, he completed his bachelor's and master's degrees from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where he was fortunate to be guided by Shweta Agrawal.
Rachit is interested in post-quantum cryptography and coming up with a deployable solution to the problem of code obfuscation. He hopes to identify the right mix of ingredients that do not suffer from the low efficiency of the (proposed) theoretical primitives, and can still be deployed at a large scale.
