Noam Lifshitz

Assistant Professor, Hebrew University

Noam Lifshitz is currently an assistant professor at the Hebrey University of Jeusalem. His research interest include analysis of Boolean functions and specifically he is currently interested in solving open problems in group theory and additive combinatorics via the expansion of the beautiful theory developed for the Boolean cube to other non abelian settings, such as the symmetric group and the real orthogonal group.

Lifshitz likes to combine methods from seemingly far apart fields, such as representation theory, Gaussian analysis, extremal combinatorics, and additive combinatorics.

Together with his collaborators he managed to solve and make progress on various open problems
