Neil Olver
Assistant Professor, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
Neil Olver is an assistant professor at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam; he also has a partial appointment at CWI. Olver works broadly in combinatorial optimization, with sojourns into game theory and probability. A particular focus of his work is the area of network design. Recently he has been working on algorithms for generalized flow, as well as understanding equilibrium behavior in simplified traffic models. Before moving to Amsterdam, Olver was an instructor in the mathematics department at MIT. He did his PhD at McGill University.
