Senior Scientist, NTT

Mark Zhandry is currently a Senior Scientist at NTT Research in the Cryptography & Information Security Lab. He will be joining the faculty at Stanford University starting Fall 2025, and was previously an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University. His research focus is on cryptography and quantum computing, although he am broadly interested in all aspects of computer science theory.

He completed a postdoc at MIT, his PhD at Stanford University, and his bachelor's degree with Highest Honors at UC Berkeley. He is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award, the Sloan Research Fellowship, and three Best Paper Awards.
