Longbo Huang
Longbo Huang is an assistant professor at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (IIIS) at Tsinghua University. He received his PhD from the University of Southern California, and was then a postdoctoral researcher in the EECS department at UC Berkeley before joining IIIS. Huang has been a visiting scholar/professor at the LIDS lab at MIT, the EECS department at UC Berkeley, the Institute of Network Coding at CUHK, Bell Labs France, and Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA). Huang was selected for China's Youth 1000-talent program in 2013. He received the Google research award and the MSRA collaborative research award in 2014, and the outstanding teaching award from Tsinghua University in 2014. His paper in ACM MobiHoc 2014 was selected as a best paper finalist. His current research interests are in the areas of learning and optimization, dynamic networks, data center networking, and smart grid.
