Leisa Lei
HR Generalist, Simons Institute, UC Berkeley
Leisa is the Institute's HR liaison from the Engineering Research Support Organization (ERSO), within the College of Engineering. She prepares hiring requests for Simon Institute visitors, and manages visa acquisition and benefits administration. Leisa has twelve years’ experience at UC Berkeley in the HR field. Outside of work, Leisa recently began growing her own vegetables at home and hopes to soon have home-grown veggies all year around. Although Leisa has had experience playing a Chinese music instrument, she has also started learning piano with her 7-year-old son.
