Gabor Balazs

Gabor is a computer scientist interested in machine learning applications and research, especially in convex regression, mathematical optimization, and sequential decision making. He received his MSc at the Eötvös Lóránd University, and his PhD in Statistical Machine Learning at the University of Alberta under the supervision of Csaba Szepesvári and Dale Schuurmans. Then he spent 4 years working as a quantitative analyst at Causality Group, and currently he is a freelance machine learning consultant.
