Elizabeth Crosson

Prior to joining UNM as an assistant professor of physics in Fall 2018, Elizabeth was a postdoc at the Caltech Institute for Quantum Information and Matter. She completed her PhD in physics at the University of Washington in 2015, and during her dissertation she spent two years as a long-term visitor at the MIT Center for Theoretical Physics. Her research interests span many theoretical aspects of quantum computation, including adiabatic algorithms, Hamiltonian complexity, quantum error correction, and classical simulations of quantum systems.
