Chamsi Hssaine
Graduate Student, Cornell University
I am a third year Ph.D. student in Operations Research at Cornell University, where I am advised by Professor Siddhartha Banerjee. I obtained my B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University, with a minor in Applied Mathematics.
My research focuses on algorithm and incentive design for online marketplaces. I am most interested in using theory to provide insights on the analysis and design of large multi-agent networked settings, using tools from game theory, optimization and probability.
Recent and ongoing work include information design for team formation (with applications in online education), the design of a multi-modal mobility marketplace, and the design of a two-sided market for cloud services.
