Assistant Professor, University of Massachusetts Amherst
Cameron Musco is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, working on algorithms at the intersection of theoretical computer science, numerical linear algebra, and machine learning. A significant focus of his work has been on applying randomized sketching and sampling methods to problems in numerical linear algebra. Before UMass, Cameron completed his Ph.D. at MIT and a postdoctoral fellowship at Microsoft Research – New England. His work has been partially supported by an NSF CAREER award and a Google Research Scholar Award.
