Aleksander Kubica

Aleksander Kubica is a research scientist at the AWS Center for Quantum Computing in Pasadena, CA, USA. Aleksander received his PhD from the California Institute of Technology under the supervision of John Preskill. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics and the Institute for Quantum Computing, University of Waterloo, Canada. Starting from 2024, he will be an assistant professor in applied physics at Yale University. Aleksander is interested in quantum information science, in particular the theory of fault tolerance and quantum error correction, and its intersection with quantum many-body physics.
