Agata Lapedriza

Agata Lapeddriza is a Principal Research Scientist at Northeastern University (Institute for Experiential AI, EAI) and a Tenured Professor at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). She is also an Affiliated Professor at the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University and a Research Affiliate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Medialab. Her research interests include Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Affective Computing, Explainable Artificial Intelligence (AI), Social Robotics, AI for Health and Wellness, and Fairness in AI. At EAI, she leads research at the intersection of AI for Health and Responsible AI, while at UOC, she is the head of the AI for Human Well-being lab at the eHealth Research Institute.
