Participating in a Workshop
Everyone is welcome to attend the boot camp and workshops that are part of the program. There is no fee for registration.
Approximately six to eight weeks before the start of each semester, registration will open on the boot camp/workshop web pages. Registration is required* to attend a boot camp/workshop in person, unless otherwise noted in the registration details card. Seating in our workshops is on a first come, first served basis. Space may be limited, and you are advised to register early. In the event the auditorium becomes full, we will open up our overflow room for attendees to view the workshop livestream.
*Program participants who are in residence are automatically registered to your program's workshop(s) that align with your visit dates. If you'd like to attend the other program's workshop(s), please register.
At this time, the Simons Institute does not offer funding or accommodation assistance for public workshop registrants. As a courtesy, a list of local lodging options is available on our website.
Schedules are posted against the workshop and/or event webpage. All talk times are listed in Pacific Time. Please note that schedules are subject to change.
Slides for the workshop talk will be made available on its workshop talk page after the workshop at the speaker's discretion.
For schedule updates
We recommend adding the workshop to your virtual calendars to remind you of the workshop week. You can do this by clicking on "Add to Calendar" and selecting your preferred calendar source (Google,iCal, Yahoo!, Outlook.com) from the drop-down list on the workshop webpage.
